next three days are going to be nice here in N. Texas.......5-10 mph winds and highs in the low 80's :smile17:

Gotta get my boat out one more time before I pickle it with antifreeze.......

Lavon on Thursday afternoon/evening. They're talking about running the jets in the afternoon, then take the pontoon out at night till about 9:30 or 10.

I remember about 5 years ago the water in my radiator of my car froze ( yeah I ran straight water in that car) of course it was facing north on a morning with a north wind in freezing temps.  I just started the car and ran it until the heat melted the ice.  Had to chip 1/2" of ice off the car to get in though that morning but it was one day not two or three or a week.  I use my ice scraper once or twice every two to three years here.  So often that I have to go buy a new one when I need it cause I cant find the one I bought last time then I don't need ti after I buy it.  One day I will find a stash of them somewhere.

I would like to mention to the rest of our members not to try this themselves . CJ is a special case , the laws of physics do not apply to him . But if a normal person tries to melt their radiator by running their engine they will blow up their engine long before they melt the ice in the radiator . I really think CJ should be more careful when posting things like this , someone who does not have his awesome powers of overcoming forces of reality might hurt themselves thinking that they can do the same things CJ does . Having such awesome powers is a huge responsibility , and CJ should take it more seriously .

Lol...ya, okay....that's why there are so many of them on the road today......
I didn't say the company management knew how to run the company, but the engineers knew how to build em.  Chrysler was always the third of the big three in sales.  I will tell you from experience I have put my vehicles through hell and back and the Chrysler, Plymouths and Dodges I have had over the years have never let me down.  I once towed a 3/4 ton van with a Dodge shadow 2.2L and 5 speed 50 miles at 50-60 mph just as an example.  Now seeing those people's faces as they passed the van on the highway and saw me in the little car pulling it was Priceless.  That car even got totaled and still drove home and to the repair shop the next morning.  I should have bought that car back from the insurance company, but I couldn't go through the check points with out getting searched in it.  Dang Dogs kept hitting on it.  And no I never had anything in it.

I had a 460 Ford freeze and crack while sitting in my shop, last winter.  Don't listen to Randall!
then again maybe it was cracked before and that is just your excuse to upgrade to another junkyard motor, btw how many junkyard motors did you try in the superman boat?

Dodge... The ONLY vehicle they make worth anything is the Ram 3,500 and that's only because of the engine that's in it, which Dodge doesn't even make. Cummins does. Before the Tahoe my wife drove a 2008 Avenger. What a hunk of crap that thing was. When I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca a buddy of mine was into cars and had a 300C Hemi, and a Mistubishi EVO. He sold them both for an 06 GTO with a 6 liter and was immediately quicker than both.

we own a 2003 ram 3500 & 2006 daytona charger both have been great vehicles. the dept i work for has chargers in the fleet since 2006 and they have turned out to be very good units. biggest problem in early models was keeping brake pads, but other wise have been very reliable units. not as roomy as the crown vic but handle & run much better.

Say what you want about Ram.I looked at GM and Ford first but bought the ram and I love it.I had a new one in 97 and hated it but this one is fantastic. Each to their own.    :smile17:
