Inspection Stickers Going Away

I saw something about this recently, but haven't heard much talk about it. You still gotta get it done, just a different routine. Except for those running Antique plates anyway. Any opinions one way or the other? Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me.

Traffic died & its a little slow.

They are tying the inspections to your registration basically. Vehicle has to pass inspection to renew registration.

taken from the link:

The inspection itself is still required. Vehicle owners will have to get one within 90 days before renewing their registration. They will have to provide proof the inspection was passed, just as they now provide proof of insurance.

Anyway, sorry to have gotten you all out from under your rocks, lol.... Guess I was correct in my thinking that it was not a big deal. :cheesy:

It's just another piece of paperwork you have to present when re-registering your vehicles. The change is supposed to reduce fraud, reduce costs for the State and also eliminate the inspection garages requirement to track and inventory their Inspection sticker inventory.
