I'm a newby and I have a boating problem...

Hi..  like I said.. I'm a newby here.  Went to Tawakoni and met a bunch of great people and had a good time.
I've got a 24 Skater that me and a buddy or two converted from twin outboards to twin LS 5.3 stern drives.
It's still a work in progress but seems to be coming along as well as I could expect.

I live about 15 miles North of Denton and normally go to Texoma or Ray Roberts.
Been married for 15 years and have a 12 year old girl and a 10 year old boy.

Welcome aboard Tim!!! Glad you're able to get on THB. Nice boat...loved it when you ran side by side with James and his Glastron...to LS boats battling it out on the lake!

My pig may do a little better next time... I just found a bad knock sensor had the timing in the right motor knocked down to 4 degrees below 4000 rpm and 18 degress the rest of the way to 6000.
I thought it felt a little doggy... :smile25:

WELCOME!! Very cool boat and a lot of work went into doing that conversion. I would really like to see some pictures of the engine compartment if you have any and don't mind.

Very nice ride boat sounds very good.  Im the one that helped yall get loaded at the ramp Sat night when the line seem half mile long.  Very nice ride look good making passes as well.

OK.. Thanks for the help. That ramp was a little tight to get lined up with.

Wow...serious transformation. What made you decide to transform that boat from a whacker to an I/O? Are those new LS motors???

I've had the boat 8 or 9 years.  It's mostly on Texoma, but I've had it on Murray, Lewisville, and Ray Roberts too.
... and Tawakoni now.
