I built two Ford motors last summer. One threw a rod thanks to the oil pump. The other is down thanks to Lunati, but not out. It'll get a new cam and get back up and running. The 460 is a pretty bad A$$ motor. Huge bore and short stroke. It's got one of the best bore to stroke ratio's of all motors ever made.
Anyway, had four 4 quads when we lived in AZ. We could open our back fence and hit up 3 million acres of desert without have to trailer them. 2 hours drive east were the sand dunes at Hot Wells and 5 hours west were the Imperial sand dunes at Glamis, CA. Both were great for camping and after riding those places, no where else comes close. Montessa Park in Albuquerque has some really good climbing hills and a great MX track.
I've had my quads upside down at all those places...
