At first I thought it was an insert pump but I can see the flange where the suction bolts to the intake.  Maybe it is just a full setback?  Water pickup is on the other side.  I think that is just a brace on This side.

TIA,
Matt

12JG looks to be setback.Looks like Shoemaker or Nelson setup, also count the bowl bolts and droop bolts setup for for some horsepower!!

I am pretty sure you are right.  I will call you tomorrow Stacey.

Definitely NOT an insert pump. Both cables in the wrong spot AND the water line on the wrong side. But it's set back far enough to look like an insert pump. Then again..... I saw a boat last week that had an E pump with a C bowl conversion that included the cables and what not. It's possible it's and E with G gear on it. It might have been on Adam's Witchcraft, that or that other guy's Taylor SJ that was out there a couple of weeks ago. One of those two had a morphidite pump/bowl setup.

Don't think it's anything like that though. The water tube is a bit hard to move. 12JG has the water tube on the same side as a A, C, or E. I can't find a diagram, but what about a 12JB?

LOL  I have the morphodite pump.  JE with cables on top.

JE will always have the cleanout inside the boat.

I think you meant the JE cleanout is always outside the boat. The JE suction housing get glassed into a notch in the back of the hull, hence the name insert pump. I guess my pump is kind of a morphadite too. It's an E with a G bowl and droop snoot. Don't see too many of those.

Looking at the original pic again, that's not a water tube but rather a brace. It's in the wrong spot to move water. That sucker is set WAAAAY back. It's missing the bolt flange that an E pump would have to attach it to the transom so it's defintiely NOT an insert pump. You can see the bolt flange on my transom right next to the cables.

looks like a set back JG to me as well. And as Stacey mentioned, it was set up for some power, the droop is double drilled & looks like the bowl is too.

Liberator or Daytona, can't tell which, but its an older one. Believe the newer ones have a the more rounded transom.

*edit* also looks like the bottom pin is falling out of the droop.

The libs still have a square transom and flared sponsons, I personally like that style better than the new Daytona. I could be biased tho
