Usually I try to stay as local as possible,  but that's the only place I know of that might have a diverted for a Jacuzzi pump.

If you got a list of vendors here in Texas, I, along with other folks I'd imagine, would be interested in hearin who they are.... Start a list....

there are many you just have to know where to look.

but how about garry snow , performance marine
mike ward mike's pump and speed. i'm sure these guys would love for texas guys to use them.

At one time, Mike's Pump & Speed wasn't doin anything anymore. If they are back in the game, cool. I've bought stuff from them before & had good luck with them.

Can't comment on Garry Snow, never had any dealings with him other than a used bowl I bought off a boat that happened to be in his yard at the time. He was more of a middle man than anything. If he keeps parts in stock, cool.

If there is someone in Texas keeping parts in stock, thats great. But me personally, if I'm gonna be buyin something, I wanna deal with the supplier, not a middleman.

Yah, you got a point, I didn't think about it in that sense. I guess what I mean is, I'd rather deal with someone that has parts in hand, to which the bigger outfits with the more recognizeable names seem to usually do. I do realize it would be a challenge for smaller shops to keep a large inventory of stuff though.

Makes me kinda wonder how many shops may be out there that folks don't know about.... It be nice to know whats out there in different areas, never know what may happen when somewhere away from home base & need something. Take Snow for example, if a person hadn't already heard of him, you'd probably never find that dude where he's at.

Unless its basic boat parts, don't count on gettin much around here, lol.

I'm all for a thread...or list of Texas local boat shops / parts warehouses.....etc. As it is, I have to ask around but if we had one central repository for this information, that would make life  much easier.

Sounds like a good idea . We should get one of the mods to set up a spot for something like that  :smile30:

Just post Randall's info. He knows where allot of things are. Plus he has been very helpful in the past! But a thread for vendors would be nice, and those who are out of town and advertise on this site we should continue to use as well! :smile16:

I would like to know of more vendors locally for alot of things . Right now I need gaskets for my pump , and will probably make them rather than order from California . I have checked everywhere I know to check around here and no one has them .

I think we mean more like member recommendations for vendors , not a place to be spammed by vendors from out of state  think.gif

What Spd said... that was what I was gettin at in my posts about it.

When I needed them, I was gettin gaskets & stuff thru Danna @ Mike's Pump & Speed. They are/were in Plantersville & that to me is somewhat local. Just somewhere along the way I seemed to hear they weren't into the boat biz much anymore. Maybe I heard wrong? Hope so, never had a bad time dealing with them.

I'm thinking a thread with info like this ( Patch Bad Azz Performance  - Magnolia Tx - 281-356-3726)
That would keep it simple! :smile16: :smile16: jump.gif jump.gif

Ok , works for me . But how many calls do you want asking if you have gaskets for a Berk pump ? Might be better to add a little section where you outline what they keep in stock , or what they do .
