I hate to go...

Gotta new assignment and will be departing in the spring to Omaha Nebraska. Not quiet done with boating down here yet as there is a rally here in town this weekend at Caddo Lake (running Cypress Bayou) and probably the Red River down at the Red River South Marina. Any one with nothing better to do, come on out!


As far as you guys...you guys are quiet possibly the greatest group of folk one in the boating community could run across! I have never been steered wrong, told off or even looked at funny (with exception of David after a couple of beers)..my family and I will truely miss the upcoming summers and the good times you guys are gonna have.

Don't cry yourself to sleep tonight thinking of how much you'll miss me...I'll be back in a couple of years  :smile16:  I still be logging in and live vicariously as a Texan through you all!

In the meantime, keep the water out of the boat, the kids in the life jackets and the beers on ice!

Hey stretch -sorry to hear man-where and when are ya'll putting in?

Not sure where the group of outboards are putting in at...I'll try and find out. They will be leaving from the Red River South Marina around noon and trucking out to Caddo for a 40 mile round trip through the Bayou. They have the Pavilion at teh Marina reserved for a Sat Night cookout and late night BSing. I'llfind some more info and make a post

No need to be sorry Tint! I've been on the list to move for about 6 years now...finally time to move on. Good thing is I'll be back...and hopefully with raise in rank and a lighter, faster boat!

Good luck up at Offutt AFB, it gets COLD up there. I spent more time than I care to remember standing alert there with TACAMO and the E-6B aircraft. Like I said on the performance boats web forum, learn how to winterize your sled. Lol.
