I'm sure a tunnel does ride better as long as its not real short. I couldn't afford a tunnel and figured it took more HP to make them as quick up to a certain level of HP so o chose the winger.

I think your Right! Maybe one day i will own me one of them wingers but i want the true tunnel winger! but they don't come Cheep!! also they are my to favorite LOOKING boats a pickle and winger

I guess I'm just the oppisite, I like the tunnel for the lake and have been thinking of finding a winger to build as a race boat. They are hella quick and easy to set up....from what I've seen and heard. Plus they get up and straight up fly on the shoe, looks awesome

I like my tunnel, and I do plan on getting it ironed out to where its respectable.

What type of hull is a Texas Tunnel? My uncle use to race one but I was so young I don't remember what it looked like. Just that it was black.

Mike S is talking about a cp tunnel or originally called a texas tunnel...no where the same as a gullwing... They'll spit you out in a heartbeat! Seen it 3 times. :smile17:

Yes that's it! I've have not done my resarch on them but if possible i would like a med. lay up are make it that way! why are they a death trap that's news to me other then there only good to about 110 are so!

Mantra also copied these boats...saw a buds hook left on him at 35 mph for no reason...like to have killed his wife...you couldnt give me one! :evil:

Cp tunnel but they ride good!! lol! but that don't mean everything! maybe i need to do more research! but I'm not buying one no time soon but it is in the futare i might have to go with a winger
