sturat,  did you make it to the river yesterday?
Yes we did and had a great time. Ran out of gas but it was a blast. Becky, Jason, Trish and my crew all ran down river to riverside and had a blast.

how much fuel does the sanger hold?  is that a long trip?

It holds 22 gallons
It is not real far but we played earlier in the day before we headed that way.
I would ay it is about 7-10 miles??? That is just a complete guess.
I think i get about a mile per gallon or close to that

I saw you on my way back to the ramp , the boat is looking good . Would have liked to stay out longer , but we had some running to do yesterday afternoon and I had to get home .

I saw the Sanger for sale over on PB , why you selling ?

it's a funny shaped tank,  at half full you don't want to be to far from a fuel station or the trailer  :smile20:

Yeah, kind of a box with 2 corners cut off, tapered towards the bottom or something like that? What is that, a trapezoid? Mine does pretty well, "mileage"-wise. Pretty mild appetite compared to most around here though. I've been able to make a 24 mile round trip, able to play some in between & still have some fuel left. Gauge is fairly accurate, when it gets to 1/4 tank better be huntin a station or the ramp though... Found that out the hard way, lol....

my old engine is pretty well mannered also on fuel if your cruising and small amount of playing,  but if your playing hard like pulling a tube and wipping it around alot.... very thirsty,  once at somerville,  we were tubing with it, pullin adults, so we were playing pretty hard.... made three trips to the marina, for fuel, ouch

Damn, three trips... Haven't done much towing myself, just a few times here & there.

I think I have towed more boats than I have tubes, lol...

LOL, its been some other stuff too... And I'm sure it'll happen to me again sometime. :cheesy: I've been on the back end of a towrope a couple times, just not around anybody from here, lol...

If I can lend a hand, I'll sure try my best to get somebody back to the ramp.
