Hondo V-Drive

didn't hardley use the boat at all this summer..... So I figured someone might have more fun with it than me.

Turnkey 73' Hondo Runner bottom 482" BBC runs strong and fast
no rot and paint is in ok shape looks great sitting in the water.

Motor: bbc with big 781 oval port heads that have been worked solid roller top end, tunnel ram with holleys 10:1 comp will run on pump gas but likes avgas fires everytime and is mean.

boat: 73' hondo runner bottom white no rot stringers and floor look good real solid boat and runs straight, boat sits on a road dolly trailer, also have dual axel trailer that needs a little work that I will throw in for some extra $$
figured I would post here first going to go up on craigslist too.

this is a very nice v-drive especially for the money, aaron told me he was wanting to build a jetboat now.

There is no cheap way to get into boating  :smile24: :smile23: :smile24: :smile23: . Trust me  , I learned that lesson a few times over  . It is  a sickness , you will spend more no matter what . Great deal on a boat though  :smile15:

You already have one of those , you need a little diversity in your herd , not all the same ride . This one would be perfect for your wife , maybe paint it to match GFD and call it "Separate Maintenance" .

You could make it be a T-Deck , sawsall and fiberglass. I know of a Hondo that was done that way and it looks great

That is only cheap until you decide you are not going fast enough , then the fun begins . Then you will want to add a pinstripe and it will turn into a whole paint job . try to clean a little spot off the interior and end up at the upholstry shop getting all new interior . This stuff aint cheap i nany way , loads of fun but not cheap .
