Holley 850 Marine carburetor for the Crusader

With the k&n it appears that I'd have to cut a hole in the chick lid. I'd like to put a scoop on it but if I can avoid it, I will. I just want a place for all the chicks to sprawl out all over the Crusader man. Lol

Go with a K&N. Flows awesome and USCG approved for use in a closed engine compartment as a spark arrestor. My K&N is three inches tall, but I want to find one that's 2 1/2 so I can run a 1" spacer under the carb shown in the pic. As it is there it would hit my hood.

Thought i had what you needed-but the spacer  i have is 2"

I run a half inch plate now... with a nitrous and fuel bar on it..

I changed the oil today, ran a Wix oil filter in place of the Motorcraft FL-1A that was on there. Also put six quarts of SAE 50 VR-1 oil in it too.

Dude, I tried the K & N you let me borrow and NO way will it fit. Lol. Yours measures from top to bottom 4 inches whereas the current spark arrestor I have measures 2 1/2 inches top to bottom.

Nice! at 1/2 GPM pumprate, I would have had my engine emptied of oil in less than 3 minutes versus the 1 hour I was hand pumping that sucker!

If you can find the 120volt pump, buy it over the 12 volt pump. Dale has a cool one, it hooks to an air compressor air hose and works fast!
