Oh hell yeah man. Then can get a real intake and let that motor breath!! Besides, the chick deck on a jet boat is really on the front anyway. Just look at the photo galleries here on THB. I don't see a single chick on the back of a boat, unless they're straddling something tall and chrome.

I'm good with what I have for now. A while ago I was in the market for a scoop, the exact one Matt posted however that was only because I didn't think The new carb would fit. Since the new carb does fit, I didn't need the scoop.
Don't get me wrong, I dig the look with the scoop on it. Just don't need it right now and I think I'll put one on when I redo the upolstery next winter.

i had to re do the back hatch cause it was rotten, re did it with one inch ply wood coated in resin, also cut a hoop the shape of the scoop flange and coated it in resin to act as a spacer to raise the pad up about even with the pad, and took it all to the upholstery shop to be covered the scoop is just screwed down with stainless cap flat head screws, and those finish washer thingies
