That's always the case, I kind of figured there would be more out there with todays economy. The Hondo was a 72 mfg. This was taken early 74. A new V-Drive cost you about same as a Lincoln MarkVI then. You could buy a hull in Stage I, II, or III completion. Stage III all you needed was motor and mounts and a drive line.
As always find someone in a little bind and buy a complete running boat cheaper.
