Shade doesn't really matter at this point....remember 1 bough already crushed Sandy's Impala about 5 years ago....and it wasn't real windy that day. Plus these frickin' trees make a MESS 3 times a year.

Yup. :wink: That dude told me $1k, that was hauled off of course, but still. Had a second estimate & he wanted $575.... which wasn't too bad considering the size of the tree (guy estimated trunk diameter at 30"+) & more inline with what I would have paid, but had already made up my mind to do it ourselves. It was a cottonwood tree, is what I was told.

Lol hell it needed cuttin down! Damn old junky a$$ trees aint worth nothing!

I hear ya... There was a huge ash right behind the carport at our old place, glad we got out of there before I had to mess with that one. :grin: Copy that on the mess... that fugger kept my gutter full, even with the leaf guards, lol...
