yup that'll work.... but copper is worth MONEY....MONEY is good for boat!!! :smile16:

Disconnect the 10 gauge wire from the alt and batt going to the amp gauge,tie in positive side of voltmeter to purple wire or switched power going to ignition switch and tie in ground to other gauge grounds.
