I went to my buddy's aluminum head repair shop last night so we could go over all the details on the Texas Blown Fuel dragster that ill be driving next season. It will be a all aluminum 427ci LS. All I have to do is help tune and drive! The races are only once a month so it won't interfere with my hot boating much. I can't wait to pull the trigger on it!!

The car is only going to weigh 900lbs with me in it and motor should make 900-1,000hp so it shouldn't have a problem running the #. I'm so excited that I got my fire suit bag out of the closet last night to make sure its all still there since its been 4yrs since I have been down the track.

Will do thanks! Hopefully it don't go like the roadster he drives did this season and not get to make a race. It took us all season to get it dialed in since it was the first time for any of us to run anything like this but we had a guy that ran a pro mod helping us and he had a little trouble since the motor was a lot smaller than his but we had it really close when it pushed the STOCK head gaskets out last time out. They will be close to the same combo so we should be close right off the trailer.

It's a sling shot (front engine rail). He is doing upgrades on the chassis to have it certified to run the class. I'll post some pics when I take them.

Whats the name of this class? i've seen a deal on the web about it. Hell i almost bought a slingshot on ebay a month ago for $4500.....then found out they are closing the dragstip in tulsa
