Last chance to save a boats life before I have to trash it. I will be needing the trailer very soon so the hull needs to go. 14 1/2 ft. Piranha HULL ONLY. Set up for outboard. Will need floors& transom redone. I just don't have the time to build it.

Boat is gone to be in the movies. They are filming some tv show here and needed it as a prop so I have a feeling it is going to go out with a bang.

That will be pretty cool! And better than just winding up in the dump! Might get to see it on the big screen? 😎

I was wondering if anyone would notice what the box on the bow said. They didn't go into details but they did say they would let me know when it would be on TV.

Bet you never would have seen that coming, lol.. Pretty cool though. Mike Rowe was funny as chit on Dirty Jobs, show ought to be good. How'd they end up with it, you have it on Craigslist or something?

I had a guy come pick up a couple old cars & one of my old trucks from my place awhile back, guy wanted them for his restaurant. The truck he split lengthways from front to back, made a salad bar out of it. Went to eat there after he opened, was funny seeing my truck in there. He threw a quick paint job on it, but all the old off-road dents were still there. Restaurant has changed hands since then, I wonder if it's still there...

Keep us posted on when it makes its television debut.

Yes, they called on a Craigslist add I had running on it. I have had that boat so long and there are so many memories associated with it that it was kind of hard to let it go, but I could not justify keeping it knowing I would probably never find the time to build it. If it had been a 16-18ft where I could have taken the whole family out at once it would have been a different story. I had a lot of fun with it and at least it is going out entertaining a lot of other people.

Pretty cool having that done to your truck but I can see how that would be kind of odd getting food out of a vehicle you used to drive around. LOL!!

Especially knowing what Kenny had done in that thing! That alone would chase people out of the restaurant :smile20:!

I don't want to know!! There is such a thing as  TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!!

LMAO!! Eh, the public would have been safe. It sat out in the rain long enough to rinse off any beer, whiskey, weed, wine, or bodily fluids that may or may not have accumulated in said vehicle. Or at least safely encased in the fresh paint they threw on it...  hopefully, lol..

Well here is the final chapter in the life of my first boat. Kind of hard to watch them do that to what used to be my pride and joy many years ago but the show is kind of entertaining. The boat makes it's debut at about 13:56 into the show.  :smile18:

Ya...... They even make the "nice boat" comment at the beginning. Did you notice that even after they blew it up it was still floating? It was a darn tough boat that could take a lot of abuse!! I wish I could have found the time to rebuild it. :smile18:
