Fishing from Jet Boat

Is it "ok" to fish from a jet boat?  I heard it was ok, just not from a V-Drive boat...  Why is that?

Anyway, just asking because after seeing those guys catching all those fish at the Lake Saturday makes me want to go out just to do some fishing.  But my fish-slayer boat (Baja 16SS) is still down, not ready for the water so I was wondering if it would be ok from the Jetboat till I get the other boat ready?

It's one of those french things, but you can do it since it's your boat. You aint fishing from mine though! :smile16:

I'm a one boat budget baller at this point, so no matter what I had, if I was to have a mind to go fishing, I'd fish out of what ever kinda boat I had handy. Don't give a damn what somebody else thinks.  :grin:

As I heard it, Jim Youngblood was building bass boats with chevy's and fords and jet drives. On his way through Austin, he saw a boat rase going on, and figured he would have some fun and enter one of jet bass rigs.  Blew everyone away and several racers ordered a boat.  Jim went back to "Arkensaw" put a different cap on the bass boat bottom, and history was made.  Just what I heard, I'm way to young to remember that far back. LOL :smile30:

I was fishing out of my jet boat and had a world record bass on the end, I think about a 45 pounder.  Just about had him in and the nylon fishing line touched the header...................................You guessed it GONE!  :smile18:  Really just ask me.  :smile16:

That's almost believable!!!  It's much better than my leader broke!  Right Patch???  LOL
