First run in the Crusader in Lake Lavon

The pump worked fine, thanks. However I'm still having the same issue with the motor cutting out. Matt said he'd swap carbs with me to see if that's the problem and if that solves it, I'll have to start saving for a new carb.

While travelling in rough seas yesterday, the passenger seat on the boat came out of the floor. Looks like I'll have to fiberglass in some more wood and reinstall the seat. Ahh....nothing but work....LOVE IT!

I have some left over 3/4 marine plywood from when I replaced the floor in the Rebel.  I bet Chad has some left over poly resin from his battery tray install.  We could probably fix that seat one evening before Plowman's if you can get the boat over here to the house.

You need to build an animated gif for you avitar so you can show both boats.

Sweet!

How does Friday sound? I'll have to make some arrangements with the kids but this Friday seems like the only day I can do it before plowmans. I know that's probably the evening you're going to need to get ready for plowmans the next day though so let me know.

Also, I have a whole quart of Epoxy resin. I know epoxy doesn't stick to well to the poly resin though. The lag bolts holding the seat to the floor ripped out. Would we have to cut out the floor section, put some supports in there and then put the new square in it or would we just fiberglass in the new wood over the top of the old wood?

Not sure how to manipulate the Avatar...that would be cool to do though.

Epoxy is actually better.  Just have to look at it and determine the best way to fix it.  Friday is fine with me.

Great, I'll have to re arrange a few things so I'll get back with you in a day or two to firm it up. I have the epoxy resin and hardener as well as fiberglass matting.

Today I'm going to take the distributor cap off and check the condition of the rotor and the cap. Then I plan on removing the spark plugs to see if they are all evenly colored.
