I can say whatever you are paying a glass man to do work for you it is worth it.  That crap sux.  I was doing a simple project and that crap is kicking my butt.  I mixed the hardener just as instructed and I cannot get the crap to set up.  They claim it will set up in 2 hours, well it has been 14 hours and it is still tacky.  Plus it started jelling in the bowl I was mixing it in.  Not sure what to do with my stcky mess today.

Total cure time is probably 24 hours.  Does it have wax in it?

explain sticky/or tacky,  some resins doesn't have a surfacing agent, like wax and when it's dry it stays tacky,  this type of resin is use for layups,  not finishing

a finishing resin will have some sort of surfacing agent/ it a type of wax,  as the resin cures the wax surfaces and gives a non tacky surface, 

layup resin is paintable after 72 hours

now you can try and mix some more and spread over what you have laid down,  make it a little hotter and it will set off the under lying resin,    this needs to be down in a dry environment

That is what I thought i would do, is add more hardner and go over it.  I would hate to start all over again.

So what's the secret???? I do all my own glassing too.........but it's a pain in the butt. Any tips to make it go better is much appreciated.

I think I had bad hardner, is all.  I am just poping off, the only thing I am doing is seat frames, no big deal.

Oh, okay....ya I reglassed mine over the winter....no need for fanciness when the material covers the fiberglass work.
