I know what he puts into it (nada) and what he puts it through one day his luck will run out and not in a good way. I don't wish any harm on him or his motor but I am concerned. You can't run a mechanical cam without ever checking your valves or use duct tape to keep the breathers from leaking oil due to too much Positive Crankcase pressure without it going boom, clang or Crack at somepoint.spd500 said:

I have two suggestions.
(1) When I am cutting, grinding, or sanding fiberglass I always have a big fan close and blowing directly on me either from the side or from behind in a way that it blows the dust away from me before it gets a chance to get on you. It keeps about 95% of it off you. Less dust=less whinning=less crap given to you on here. (At least about itching) LOL
(2) You should just buy the trailer that I have and not worry about yours. I can make you a REALLY good deal on it and with surge brakes & the heavy duty axle there is no need for tandem.

I have seriously thought about getting that trailer from you. Even thought about swinging by after BCR this weekend. Just don't have the cash flow in the budget right now. I have a possible trip to houston to pickup a couple of 454's I am going to be rebuilding and putting in the 32' cruiser after they are rebuilt. I might just get it from you then. I know you need to get rid of it I just figure it will be gone by the time I get the cash saved up.customtouch said:

Well itch is near gone today figure its one of two things either my arms are getting numb from it (I am ignoring it successfully) or the fact that I fixed the water pressure in my shower so I actually get pressure instead of a dribble washed all the fiberglass away effectively. Oh and I was cutting glass in a t-shirt and shorts last night just to prove I can handle it.

CJ, next time working with flying glass particles, coat yourself in baby powder. I learned that trick after 2 weeks of itching. The powder clogs up ur pores so the glass can't get in, a big fan helps, & COLD showers, NOT HOT. Hot H20 just opens up the pores.
I'm sure some of the peanut gallery will have a comment or two about the baby powder, but it works ......

when im doing fiberglass i really do wear shorts and short because its so hot(dust mask of course), i try not to rub my arms to get the dust off, i deal with it until im dont grinding then i blow it off with light air pressure, wiping it off with a rag or our hands make it alot worse. at the end of the day i blow off with air really good then go take a hot shower scrubbing with a wash cloth, when i get out of the shower i feel like i didnt even do fiberglass work that day.been working that way for me for a long time.
