Ha ha if i wasn't at work or could afford to take the time off I would be at home working on it now.  unfortunately i have to be here so they can pay me to sit on my arse.  I have staggered out my vacation time so I can be at some events and some for Boy Scouts with my son.  Taking the entire last week of June to go to summer camp with the troop.  Thats going to take abite out of my boat work time and vacation time.  Good thing its still May.

Spare me the excuses ButterCup.....I have a Boyscout too....and a house, I cook and clean, I do the yard and build things and take care of it all without having a woman at the house...... and still found time to at least do things that didn't cost me any $$.

I worked until 2am some nights when my kids were a sleep!

Carry on!!

Just goofing with ya bro....

i know i ain't skeered I am diving head first back into it when i get home.  Have to stop and pick up a rim to check if it will fit the trailer first though.  Got a set of Aluminum 16" rims that just might work.  Then I just need to find another axle to convert it over to a tandem.

Ya'll can eat my fiberglass dust.  Someone awoke the monster.  Funny thing is the wife didn't say nuthin last night except it looks nice.  I was half expecting her to complain that i didn't finish what she wanted done.

I told ya'll that once i got going it would be gangbusters.

I understand the 2 am's cliff done em before and wont be the last time before this is all over.  Last night got my goal done and then some so went in at 12.

I just don't want to see me next time getting rides to and from the ramp.  I hate having to be dependent on other people.  Ya'll are a great bunch but typically when your dependent you get let down.  I like to stand on my own two feet.  BCR was a decision to go and keep my word that i was coming regardless or stay and work on the boat and not have to ask for a ride.  I think I made the right decision cause now I am even more driven to not have to ask for a ride.  I don't even want to have to ask for a tow.  I am sure my barge is going to chew up someones gas getting towed anyways so going to make sure it doesn't need one either.

I would just leave it a single axle . Tandem axles are way overrated  . I got rid of my tandem and got a single . Going to find a single to put under the TX19 too .

If you don't want to have to ask for a tow don't put a Chrysler in it  :smile30:

That's just what I was thinking too......leave it single axle. It's much easier to move around if you need to move it......and as long as you get your trailer road worthy, I'd go tandem later on after the boat is done. I'd focus on road worthiness rather than upgrading.

Yeah whatever as I told TTJ this weekend that 360 will long outlast his motor.  I have no worries about it and it already has 260k miles on in it in use from a 3/4 ton work truck.

Ya it is..... I towed in a Chapperal three weeks ago and another on Sunday. My thinking is that if I pay it forward now, I'll be able to get a tow when I need one in the future.

ya , but it don't need to be tandem axle. I'd get what you got right now solid, axle can always be added later. last thing I'd be doin is adding yet another project to the list. :cheesy:
