The Lincoln relieved us (Roosevelt) in 93 in the Med.

Ha!  Squids indeed.  The Hawk was joined in SD by the Lincoln while i was aboard the KH.  WOG day...good times with a shalale!  :smile14:  Guess they don't "allow" those any more.

I served on both those ships, the Lincoln and hawk. I was on the Hawk during her last cruise prior to being homeported in Japan.
