Attempt number 3 to post this:  Well I was able to go and clean up all the leaves out of the Kindsvater earlier today and got a chance to take some pictures figured I'd give everyone here first shot.  I'm going to have to wrap my head around some figures, but I will probably be posting this on craigslist in a couple of days.  How about it, anyone interested in starting a new project?  I have plenty of stuff for it, I just got to figure out what I'm willing to get rid of.  Someone ought to step up and save this old boat, I hate to see things like this just go to hell.  1972 Kindsvater, when I got it the guy had a 454 with a 2 speed powerglide, said that is the way that he got it.  Probably get rid of most of the parts too, stringers are a different width than my boat.

Sorry Clayton, totally missed it. Man you ain't lyin about a project... I ain't no v-drive guy though, so I probably wouldn't have the same appreciation for it that somebody that knows the Kindsvaters & the earlier flats in general would.

Can't hurt to post his on PB in the V-drive section, give them west coast fellas a look at it & see what they say.

I saw where you talked to J.J., you mention this boat to him by chance? He be able to tell you something I'm sure.

I mentioned it to JJ, but it didn't sound all that interested in it.  I imagined he's got enough irons in the fire already.  :smile30:

I meant for informational purposes, not necessarily buyin it.. All I can honestly say about it based on the pics is it has nice lines, & may make a good lake hotrod. Only other Kindsvater I ever saw or heard of was in pictures back on Hotboat. Was black with some orange & green striping on it, sharp lookin boat. Guy had a Chryler in it, 440 I believe. Was a tunnel ram motor for the longest till he put a blower on it.

Still think askin about it on PB would be a good idea, just because of the broader audience. Sure can't hurt.. :smile17:

Somebody make me an offer on this.  I need to get rid of it.  It comes with a top loader Casale, BBC bell housing plate, cavatation plates, T-handle for cavitation plates, propshaft, and cavitation hardware.  I have a title in my hand. May be willing to trade for something just let me know what you got.  Randall do something with this boat!  :smile30:
