I'm really looking forward to this event. Both my Hondo runnerbottom and my RBR Deaver hydro have the engines out, as we speak, getting them ready.

Staying warm? Only as long as I'm inside! Today I shoveled snow and tried to get our driveway passable!

I'm gonna leave mine down at the lake that day its about 6 colors and none of em are pretty! we'll drive into town to see all the others tho!

HellinnFrnt , I hope you go ahead and display your boat in town . As far as I'm concerned , your boat is a perfect example  of one of the things that hotrodding , in any form , is about . Besides , as it was quickly , and correctly pointed out to me , the boats aren't everything . Hope to see you there .  :smile17:

Yeah I know what ya mean... I'll probably park it between tints and hpj's so people can get a "before and after" idea!

mine will be WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY  after  :smile30:

Just for the heck of it .... I'm working at a silk screen shop now ... what are the odds Eddie and Cookie can send me some logo .gifs to maybe make tshirts for donations to local charities ?  NO cost involved for THB or EHFC ... but would need to know name's of charities involved .......  can make approval shirts beforehand if  I get logo's by March 15 ............  just a thought ....

silver metal flake gel , with a coat of white then primer then purple then white then dirt ... very special and hard to mix ....

Hey guys,

Are we on for Holiday Inn?  Our son-in-law is harrassing his employer to get that weekend off so they can convoy up with us with their V-Drive.  It is less than 2 weeks after the Sweet-V's 25th Wedding Anniversary, so we plan to CELEBRATE!!

Ah Man.  I just realized I have a day surgery the Friday of this event.  There is no way I can make the trip.  I am completely bummed.  I was really looking forward to this one.  Eddie and Ercie are long time heroes of mine.  I was really looking forward to talking with them for a few minutes  :smile25:

Hey Eddie, If I send money with someone for an XL shirt from you dealership will you sign it for me?

Hi, guys and gals,

We haven't had a rain here in six months, and my favorite playcove has the water level so low now that I wouldn't feel good about using it. And both of my boats still have the engines out of them, waiting on back-ordered parts. With that and gas prices where they are now and going higher, I'm wondering if next year might have lower gas prices, a safe water level, my own boats back together and ready to play, and maybe be a better time for our event?  think.gif

I would like to say maybe next year or maybe later this year. I know I had plans to come but don't have my boat running either. I also know what you are saying about the no rain and lakes low, plus you guys have had a lot of fires up that way. We have time to plan another event at most likely better time frame.
