Last year most of us stayed at the Holiday Inn:

Indoor pool, hot tub, good food..
Cookieman is going to see if he can get us some group rates again.
We will need a little better head count, to know how many rooms to reserve....

Duane, lol...man that is just less than six months away!! You guys are as bad as we are in the North in anticipating events when it's cold outside and we're wishing for warmer lake days! lol... too funny

I know it is early guys in the palnning stages of this Eddie Hill event. I am the process to contact the Holiday Inn about some type of group rate. Head count as we closer will help greatly. If you didn't make the first event a few years back  this is one you don't want to miss out. Ask anyone who attended and you will find out what an great time we had with a Legend. Mark your calendars, this one not to be missed.

What is it with you guys always bringin up the Hot Tubs?    :laugh:

We will be at the event just not sure if we are in on the Hotel.  I'll post up as soon as I have confirmation from the boss.

Eddie and Ercie will work that out...last time, it was for the local missions as well as the local animal shelter, I believe..we'll chime in when we get more info!... :smile17:

We'll probably do this pretty much like last time. We'll request a voluntary donation from spectators, by putting on the flyer-

"Admission is free, but please support the charities that are here to accept your donation"

Although the folks that bring their boats are welcome to contribute also, we feel y'all are doing plenty by putting on a show for the spectators.

I removed my earlier post so that there would be no further misunderstanding . I should have used smiley faces to indicate the intended humor ! NO disrespect intended !
I hope the weather co-operates for a good turn-out at the Eddie Hill event . Looking forward to it !!
