must be rough to have all that money to waste

It isn't wasted money if it works.  Wasted money is when you spend a lot and for a little more, you could have gotten what you really wanted.

Done that a few times trying to save money! You get what you pay for and then spend more to make it actually work.

Roger that!  My rain gage is showing a total of 10.8 inches for the last 14 months!!  That is sure not much rain for more than a year now!  I keep checking the ramp we use at the little play cove on the East side by the Henrietta bridge where we got together for the ShowNShine, and the lower end of the ramp is just barely underwater!

Just curious, but what is the compression ratio on that motor and what octane fuel will you have to run. Sharp looking motor with great numbers by the way!

Thanks, customtouch.  It is a 91 octane build/tune.  If memory serves me right, we set this one up around 10 to 1 compression, but I'd have to refer to the build sheet to say for sure.  We did not get into the short block this time, just put new Racing Head Service heads on, and the pistons, etc. have been in so long I don't remember clearly what we did.

Wow! Hats off! Those are really good numbers for 91 octane. Wish I could run pump gas on mine. I will have to have minimum of 110 but preferably 114. I have a feeling that it is going to get expensive quick.
