I don't see the big worry about losing power and the drop light going out. Just put a candle in the bilge and that should provide enough light!!! :grin:

Sad thing is i was gonna have to resort to a drop light type deal with a tarp and gen set just to keep that chit from freezing. and if that chit didnt work then its  :smile18:

I never said otherwise. You always flappin your keyboard about how using a droplight is an untrustworthy method for freeze protection & then you are talkin about doing it. What makes it good for one & not the other? I didn't distort anything, but you do a good backpedal.
