Once you get faster than the jon boats then you can work on outrunning wave-runners.  :smile26:

if i cant out run them then god forbid if they ever come up behind me  :smile18: lol :smile16:

with all the measurements in and all it's really a 474.99 ci with 11:1 compression I'm thinnin I need a tunnel ram and headers to make it really work. Had the machine shop open up the oil drains in the heads so I can keep more oil in the bottom. Still have to get a new timing cover on monday old one is really pitted. Should be all back in by wednesday or thursday with luck and no rain.

well heads are done finally, they shaved 10 thousants off them, block should be done tomorrow bored .060, with 10.1 flattops going in it, 10.1 pistons & shaving 10 thousants off heads outta give me a nice compression motor right where i want it. if all goes well i'll have it in the water saturday afternoon or sunday morning to get the cam broke in..... :smile28:...... :smile17:..............

Seems to always be something! Good luck with the new motor! :smile17:

yea TintMan, you know you spend lots of time and money  :smile13: getting all your parts ordered and gathered up then check your list 2-3 times to make sure you have everything & something as stupid as that happens, needless to say i wasnt a happy camper saturday  :smile15: i even called every parts store in that area but no one had one
