Ya man, starting to look that way.

The starter is at Hammonds right now...the armature is bad. It was just rebuilt last spring......weird how it went bad in just a year.

Also...I just bought two Interstate Marine starting Batteries Group 27 so that should help with cranking that beast. The old batteries were Motorcraft auto batteries date stamped 2008....so it's about time they're replaced anyway. One of the old batteries read 8.5 volts (unloaded) last night and I know I charged that sucker two days prior.....no, they weren't connected to anything.

Hope to have all this mess resolved and in the lake Saturday or sunday.....fingers crossed.

With two brand new fresh group 27 Interstate Marine starting batteries and hopefully a rebuilt starter this afternoon, this puppy should fire up today!

So last night we're getting some chow at Luna De Noches after the concert and Cliff says, "I'll be right back, you know how us Navy guys are always having to take a leak". I added "More like always taking it up the rear". Without missing beat his girlfriend pipes in and says "I tried that, it doesn't work".

WE ALL TOTALLY LOST IT!!! It was soooo damn funny and timed perfectly..

Well, thanks to a 3rd party helping and wiring in the dark it turned out plug wires 7 and 8 were switched. Fixed them and it popped right off and purred like a kitten, oil pressure steady at 70 psi. GTG.
