I hope so, I am ready to see some action.  Reminds me of drag racing days on the street (before it became super illegal...)...  Rankin, Keith Harrow, Brittmore, Miami Subs (meeting spot), Uhaul, Self Rd (Tomball), Bridge by Cemetary and Hooks airport (Tomball) and I don't even remember all the other "spots"....  getting old.

Holy crap Shrimp, now that's a blast from the past .....

I've lived on the west side of town all my life.  Frequented all the local racing spots from time I was 18 (1992) till 2002 or so whenever it was that they made street drag racing a misdemeanor instead of just a traffic ticket.  Was a member of HSRA, was NOT at the K-mart bust, LOL.

I got to participate in the great Rankin Rd. round up. About 150 cars in a caravan to HCSO in Humble. Every side street on the way was blocked. Somehow me and my buddy got our DL's back & were told to beat it out the back door. Wheeeeeeew.

Nice! We hung out at self road in Tomball. Had a friend that lived at the end of it, so we had an excuse for being there! :smile16: I know Rankin had been busted a couple of times. We showed up, ran, and got the hell out of there. No hanging out for too long! :smile30:

We got nailed on Telge one night leaving Tin Hall in my buddy Z28. Kinda cool having Drag Racing on ur MVR, but not so easy to explain. I don't think they hand out those awards anymore.
