I won't be there. Just pulled the oil plug, got chocolate shake coming out. Tiny water droplets under the valve covers (could be condensation). Gonna have to pull both the intake and the timing cover to see which one is leaking. I don't think anywhere in town is going to have SCJ intake gaskets in stock either.

At least it didn't make it to vanilla shake. Unless that's what engine assembly lube does to oil?? Make a chocolate shake...??

Ugh, man, that sux.. Sure hate to see that. Good thing is you caught it quick... you gonna pull it back out or just pull it apart in the boat. Least you still have room to work should you go that way & you don't have all the seats & stuff back in...

I dunno .. I've used that white lithium stuff to assemble with before and it looked kind of caramely after I ran the motor a little while but cleared up once I got some heat in it ... but water condensation in the valve covers sounds like a leak to me ... you'll get it worked out though

I don't think anywhere in town is going to have SCJ intake gaskets in stock either.

Blazeracer...I have a set (fel-pro) hanging on my wall in my boat storage stall....come get'em if you need them.....not going to use them this year......

Concert was good good turn out as well Huge Huge really too big for hubbard 88' house boat showed up.  Dam it was nice inside and out..

geez anything bigger than 42' is too big for the lake anyways .......  still I wouldn't mind having one to live on ...  :smile29:
