Man, that looks awesome... You gonna go into the windshield business?

Lol....probably not.

We didn't even use the Commercial Bender that I got from that guy in Savannah Georgia. We ended up using a Propane tank power space heater as it was able to heat a wider area compared to the 1 1/2 inch gap the Commercial bender would have heated. The bends we were attempting to create were wider and rounder than what was capable with the Bender.

Thanks guys. Matt is the one who gets most of the credit here...if it weren't for his resourses and actions, I'd still be windshield-less....

Thanks Matt!!! I owe you a LOT of beer!

No problem.  Glad we could pull it off.  Chad's should be a little easier now that we kinda know what we are doing.  I'm glad I thought of that space heater.  That thing made it easy.

Thanks D.  As always there are a couple of little things I wish we would have done differently.  There is only 3 of us that will ever know what they are.  I doubt anyone else will notice them.  :smile30:

Even so, first time around on a project like that turned out excellent results. There usually gonna be a case of that, just makes it go smoother on the next one. :smile17:

Thanks D-man....The deal was that we'd build mine first if I volunteered to be the "Guinea pig" so to speak. We certainly did learn a lot from the work yesterday and made known a lot of unknowns. The next two windshields should be a breeze to make compared to what we went through last night....we know what to expect.
