That's defintitely a winner right there!! Hey Jeff, if you want a Glastron again, there you go. If I didn't already have a CVX-20 I'd be all over that one.

Modelling after a wise Sharkbit member once told me many moons ago, lol  :smile30:,    "Jeff, buy this boat!!"

Also, I've called Duanehydro and the owner of this '78 Crusader and have a good feeling about this boat. Both guys were straight up and Last Mohican graciously offered to take a look at the boat while he's in the Sequin area this weekend (Thanks Matt).

I'm in the process of securing some funding and I hope to make this deal happen.  :smile27:

That crusader is a real nice ride. I hope it all works out. The only question I would ask is if it has a diverter. I gotta have a diverter... LOL

Well I'm assuming it does as the current owner stated that he "Hosed his wife down" accidentally one time when she was tubing behind the boat.

Ya, shooting a rooster is most certainly important to me as well! Lol.

Here are a few pics. They were taken at night however you can get an idea of the overall condition of the boat.

Hey Cliff, That tribal graphic around the side is just vinyl.  You should be able to peal it off pretty easily.  If it were me I'd put that at the top of the list.  I think the boat would look much cleaner without it.  I'm a sucker for original though.

I'll take a look at the tribal graphics and see what I should do. My son Jacob loves it so we'll see. I might pick her up as early as Wednesday as I have a meeting in Waco Thursday morning. Maybe I can convince him to meet me somewhere near Austin Wednesday evening.

I'm a Blue Oval guy as Chebbies have left me on the side of the road to many times in both my old Corvette and bow tie trucks. My Fords have run strong each time I needed them to. Lol.

I hope to have her in time to bring to lavon on Sunday so the experts can take a look at her.

I'd say Jacob's style trumps nostalgia for sure.  LOL.  Hope it works out for you to pick her up before the weekend.  It would be nice for you to have all day Sunday for everyone at Lavon to oogle over her.  Before I forget it needs an e-clip on the secondary plunger where it connects to the throttle plate.

Matt, Jacob was quite adamit about those graphics, I guess they are part of his generation lol, he's almost 9.

Kona, the Blue Ovals haven't let me down yet and I hope that with this BBF, that the outstanding Ford reputation still holds. Lol. Nothing personal to you Chebby guys.  :smile26:

I don't know about them feeeords or chebbies but I kinda like the sound of a good 40hp yamahammer 2 stoke. It got me to the ramp at Lavon.
