I already am and I haven't even gone to one yet.  LOL I am itching to go and more so to take the boat and show it off.

Not that it will be the best one out there or the fastest one but it definitely will be unique.

probably would take a little thinking but i bet it could be done! Heck i put one on the funjet,,took a little doing but its on there!  We need some more pic's of his pump and maybe somebody can come up with something!

wonder why you couldnt drill the pump housing and add a bowl to it and then a diverter?
you would have to make a flange adapter to get the bolts in,,but i bet it would work!

I guess there is something else to try but then its changing out the output section of that Jet for a berkley or something right?  That Means its no longer unique.

yea you could change out the whole intake pump and all but it would not be original. thats the down side. i was thinking in line of leaving the intake and not destroying any of the original parts and just adding to the pump itself,,if it doesnt work well you still have all the old parts in the original condition.

My opinion, which is worth every penny you pay, is if you have a unique boat and all the original parts to reassemble an original rig, and that's what you want, DO IT.
But it sounds like you've already started coming over to the dark side and are building a unique Hot Rod boat.  I have an original Glastron (1978) that I am keeping original, the Liberator (1985) is a total Hot Rod.

By the way, I will not make any money on either of these projects, but I will have a good time, building, creating, riding in and drinking Beer in.

Jim  I agree the only thing not original is the engine and its not far off from original.  Getting a 340 engine is almost impossible and out of my budget but the 360 externally looks the same and is similar in power with a little more torque due to a longer stroke with a slightly smaller bore.  It is going to me one of a resto mod.  Restore it back to almost original condition with mods that improve the feel and function.  Like interior, engine, gauges or minor speed mods that don't change the overall look.
