I know where there is one just haven't gotten a response on the price yet.  I might find a way to fix it temporarily until I can get a replacement.  Either with the epoxy fix or grinding and welding it up.

I have thought of that but do I really want to have a chunk of that pass through the pump if it doesn't hold.  If I do any repair to it then it will most likely be either Mig/Tig welded or Torch brazed.

Do you think we could have JB welded yours back together?  But yours is too nice to do something like that to it.

Cut it out and put a Berkeley in there  :smile30: then you MIGHT get over 35 with that 360 in it  think.gif

In all honesty if you are able to grind it out a little and then get In there with a mig I would will do that and weld it up and then grind it flat so its nice and smoth

Hmm well since factory setup was a 250HP 340 that ran 58mph and now I am putting in a 300hp 360 I would say your calculations are a bit off or the Berkley is a piece of junk.

If I can get the impeller and wear ring off then that's most likely what I am going to do.
May even see about sharpening up the blades on the impeller while I am at it.

Actually , I am not sure the kona has been that fast before either . It takes a decent amount of power to push a boat through the water , and the Kona used to have an Olds in it  :smile19:

With the short amount of time you have and limited funds, I would have it welded.  A good shop can grind it out at a 90+ degree grind on each side and weld it back up.
