Well that sucked, waited an hour in line at the park trying to get in finally gave up, went to cranes mill put the boat in and as soon as I left the marina I encountered 3ft waves and 30mph winds. I'm gald I have a good bilge pump! I put the boat in the cove and we swam around for a while and put the boat back on the trailer and went to clear springs and got some onion rings and fried fish :(

Sorry to hear that.  At least you didn't drive all the way to Buchanan for that experience, we did.  I really want to do some exploring on all of the local lakes. I'm thinking Marble Falls next.  It looks nice from above and when we went over today it looked pretty calm relatively to all the others.

We also headed out to Canyon on sun. we got there around 10 am. and headed over to party cove. When i left the cove around 3 and headed back to the boat ramp at jacobs creek the lake sucked. The wind was blowing and there were some pretty good size swells out in the middle. I go to Canyon alot and that was by far the worst I have seen there. By the time we got across the lake evryone and thing in the boat was wet. It was still a good day at the lake, beats sitting at home.

Went out there Friday. Found the beach that was talked about.

It was windy like crazy. I was going about 47MPH into a head wind and it ripped my top off. My top is part of my wakeboard tower! Mother In Law is going to sew it back up. After that we started to BURN, so back to the dock.

Saw a few boats out there. One guy had a real nice jet called Slap and Tickle.

Beats working, but stay off the water the rest of the holiday.
