Canyon Lake Sunday

Going to try and head out to Canyon on Sunday. Be out there around noon and head up to the river part of the lake. Stop by and say HI.

I am sure I have the only Sea Ray with Thru Hull exhaust out there.

I am a regular at Canyon.  Should be there.  Either hang in party cove or run all over lake.
Orange and Purple Ultra 21LX.

Okay okay where do we launch comal park? Cranes mill?  And what times and where the heck is party cove!?!

launch where you can and head up the lake on the left side you will see all the boats. As soon as the baby wakes up we are heading out.

If I don't make it Sat I will be there Sunday,  [ Orange and Yellow 20ft Sleekcraft ]  I launch at Jacobs creek, will head over to the river then to party cove. BTW, have fun all you Bay City Rollers ! [ no cow shit on my feet this year !!! ]

We left the house at 1400 and were on the water by 1445. Baby napped for a while Sunday.

Well anyway. It was windy, but nice day. Put in at Comal park and then headed to Party Cove. Did a turn thru there and took off up river. I did see a nice green jet anchored up at the island there. Wife, kid and I went to one of our "off the beaten path" coves and hung out. It was nice. Baby got cranky and we took off around 1800. Did another pass thru Party Cove running fast. Boat back in the garage, dinner, showered, baby asleep by 2030!!

Ready for Memorial day weekend. I am probably going to put in at the Randolph AFB rec area and then head up river. I am thinking Saturday.

That green boat was probably Chad, TX19 ?  we'll see you Sat or Sun. BTW, make sure Randolph ramp is open, when the lake's low there's not enough water in that cove to launch. [ same at Ft Sam ]

Ya that was me and a buddy on the island we meet a guy On a jet ski that was from SA that is putting a Jet together right now he was alright had alot of questions it is his first one. But we stayed there a pretty good while then went way up the river and finished off the day. Me and a bunch of my buddies will be there next friday thru monday.

I will have to stop by and say Hi next time.

Hey, could you hear my boat? I have often wondered about how loud it is from a distance with the exhaust coming out of the sides rather than the transom.

Sorry really didn't pay much attention while we were tied up. I am going up on Friday around noon and staying till Monday we will be at a buddies house right on the water if you go past the marina and lucky sailor restaurant    to the back of the cove and hang a left you will see all of our boats on the shore its one of the only places I know on canyon that has a sandy beach/shoreline.

I hear this lake is nice.  Never been.  Wish my boat was ready I'd be there this weekend too, probably will be another 2-3 weeks, maybe sooner, can't wait!  I guess I'm not completely missing out, got all summer.  Is there an event on Canyon once a year like there is at other lakes/rivers?  A friend of mine knows someone there with a house on the lake, might be able to sleep there.

Not events, but just weekend boaters...Maybe we might get one together?

Most weekends I am out there.

Oh man I'm getting all excited now! Hey I've seen that green boat being pulled down 87 with a white ford? Anywho looking forward to this weekend I'm there when ever where ever. I just Wann see some jets out there!
