Matt used some stuff on his trailer he got from TSC that you roll it on then tip it out. It's impliment paint. Hard as nails and looks great.

Just an option if you want to DIY it. Me, I'm all about DIY. Roll and tip looks bad ass done right and will last for years.

Matt's trailer.

That does look nice.  Mike S will spray me some serious  bling.gif. though.

Word around the campfire is there is a collection being taken up to pay Mike to paint some unicorns on your fenders for ya. You want the horns pointed towards the front of the boat or the back? lol

Either  :smile16:.  I am going to look rag-tag for the show and shine with my rattle can primer fingers this weekend.  Mike offered to do them before the weekend but I did not want to put pressure on someone who is doing a favor.  He will have me looking good soon enough. jump.gif

I did the same thing as Matt did with his trailer. Thanks to Matt, I was able to needle gun it, and tip/roll on some yellow from Tractor Supply.

Final product.

I re-did my trailer over the Memorial day weekend 2011 and it's held up well over the summer.

Man that looks good!

Thanks!

I used an Implement Yellow from Tractor Supply.

Just an option incase your spray option doesn't work out for ya.

The total time it took me to strip and repaint the trailer was about four hours of work....not to bad at all.

Then you'd see the chipped paint and unevenness of what's under the new paint. To get a nice finish you have to prep the surface before painting.
