Boats almost ready. Now my body decided to deal me a fit. Kidney infection again.  Getting discouraged, maybe it's time to sell this thing. Update, kids came over to help me finish up and get ready. Mama says we are going.

OK Galen, Time to get on the pure Cranberry juice morning and night.  Not the sweet cocktail soda pop stuff.........

Clear it out everytime.............. Be clear in few days. Better than antibiotics.

Hang in there Galen . I know it is bad if you went to the Doctor .. Take it easy for a few days and maybe you will be OK to travel for 10 hours , if not STAY AT HOME .. Your health is more important that the boat ..

Galen - did you here about Richard (  my cousin Patricia's ) boyfriend going down while swimming at Plowman. they care flighted him to JPS hospital .. That 17 year old boy saved his life that was on that jet ski . He pulled him up and gave him CPR until the Careflight got there .. Amazing kid . I would like to meet him .

Galen  would be great to meet ya bud but like everyone else says your health is more important.  Get well drink lots of cranberry juice and hopefully we will see you soon.

What time is everyone getting there sat?  Looks like I have a 3 hour Drive that morning.

Bring your V Drive boats to Steele Creek July the 13 and 14 for a little fun. Would like to see as many V drive boats as we can at one time. This is not just for v drives but I am calling all v drive boats to come if they can. Would like to see as many boats as can make it. Thanks j.j. jump.gif

JJ so what time are we meeting there?  We are planning to bring the Carlson.  It will be unfinished but thought we would bring it anyways.  Hopefully you will have the Casale ready so I can pick it up.  Need to talk to you on that too when you have a few minutes.  Have to stop in Waco on the way up or back to pick up some parts too.  Need a time frame though.

Cliff you go hang out with those v drives you will be putting a gearbox in that thing, gain 20 mph, and throw rocks at those jet boats.

I don't have to pretend to go fast . Mine has been in the water 3 times already this year and it will go over 50 MPH if I push it .. . I am  just bitching about how hot it is in my shed where I keep the boat , Sitting behind a desk in an air condition building all day makes it hard to get out and work in the heat .. I am just being lazy .. It will all get done today after work and it will be ready to hit the water Saturday morning ..

Kenny- I am getting to old and out of shape to paddle any faster than 50 mph .. My GPS showed about 106 mph one day but that was when i went to the lake pulling it with my 68 Chevy pickup and I forgot to turn the GPS off when I left the house . So I can honestly say the boat has gone 106 mph .. Just on the trailer .. LOL

I know you run your boat but just for those days when you don't want to burn any fuel you can get the sensation with only a few pennies of electricity cost.

And Patch yeah you know I do,  JJ warned me not to push the Carlson over 70mph until I get a prop release.  Somehow I don't think that will be a problem right now.  Going to get the motor next weekedn even though I have another motor right here I could use.  Seems like I am starting to stock pile Big Block Chryslers again.  Time to start racing.

Can't wait for Saturday I have a lot of work to do to the trailer tonight to get it ready.  Probably should swap out the tires before we leave too since a few are having a hard time holding air and one rim is missing the valve stem.

Edit: BTW Billy looking forward to seeing yours run saturday
