You better hope it runs better than 65.  Otherwise getting your A$$ handed to you by a Pontiac will cost you a lot of money next winter.  Just ask James.  LOL.

I'm turning a stainless A at about 6300.  Turned my alum B at about 6500. But it was slippin like a mofo.  My A was worked my MPD so it bites pretty hard.  Still need inducer. Any of you texicans got one for sale?

Ya know if you would have came to bash last year you would have won a trophie for fastest v drive. We only had 2 there and both were hydros. 1 wasn't lake legal and chopper had to leave before the radar run.

why not go with an A impellor? it will give ya a better hole shot, that motor turned my A imp 5300 at wot, and with the upgrades your doing to it and it going in a gullwing i would say you would turn an A over 6000

Ill have my A in it to see how it works. if it will turn over 6000rpm and pump is hooked up good, then ill leave it alone. i just dont think it will? now when i start using nos ill use an A 4sure.

Man this is a tough crowd here I post my Buddies GPS I get accused of using "ebay speed" and I break down and post my 63.8mph run and you all accuse me "dirt track racing" whatever that is. I was really hoping for a Taylor SJ or two with the Berkley "E" pump and a wore out 403 Olds. Then I might stand a chance.  :smile17:

Buy the impeller that let's the motor rev to its max horsepower and torque. If it 5600 or 8500, then build the bottom end accordingly.  RPMs kill engines

Thanks Hammer, but the videos were played fast forward to make the old boat appear fast.  :grin:  Man I'll try and get back down to the boat bash but you keep having it on my youngest son's birthday weekend. Try moving it up a week if your date isn't set for this year.
