I'm sure if you've been talking to Tom, he probably has mentioned an Energizer conversion? George/Pro53 got one from him for the Jacuzzi YJ thats in his Omega. He's always seemed happy with it & from what I gathered it was a bolt in deal.

Saying this based on the fact that the intake is set correctly & it doesn't need any work. If the intake is hinky, then ya, as sucky as it may be it may be time to do something different. Just depends on how you feel about the boat. I wouldn't even consider investment or resale value in the equation, that shitt went out the window soon as you bought a jet boat, lol...

You needed a smoother riding hull anyways Matt. I hate for you to spend a lot more money that you won't get back if the boat hurts your back.

D-Man, Problem with the energizer kit is my suction housing.  It has already been "Converted" with the old Aggressor kit.  The housing was modified for this kit and is no good for an energizer now.  I would need an unmodified YJ suction housing to energize if I went this way.

Bobby, You are exactly right.  If I have to invest $1500 - $2000 in a pump, that same money would go a long way toward the hull I actually want.

I have a line on a stock YJ.  Pro: It would get the boat back on the water for much less money.  Con:  It's a stock YJ.  LOL.

If I am going to cut the ties why even spend that money on the stock YJ.  :smile29:

Dawn wants me to fix it.  She would be sad to see it parted out.  Her words "It's like your killing it".  She even said "Why can't you just keep it and not fix it."  Not sure the reasoning there.  crazy.gif

I'll probably be selling the entire hull with the trailer on the Enforcer. I gotta get rid of one. Maria tried to pawn off the Glastron on a fridge customer yesterday.

Don't our women understand taking away our toys is like cutting off our nuts.  its just a part of us.  Maybe they do understand and then it makes them feel superior by demasculinizing us.

Which Glastron?  I want a 19' Daytona or similar.  Cheyenne, Liberator, GS Marine, Etc...  Not worried too much about weight.

Ahhhh didn't know that. That does throw a wrench into things...  Well, I guess what I would look at is how you feel about the boat. If you don't have any real attachment to it or something... you could unload it for something else. You keeping the Pontiac? You'd probably get the most $$$ for it if it was running & even if you left the Pontiac in it, you'd still be left with putting a pump in it to get it seaworthy.

Your wife said keep it & not fix it?  hell ya! make an awesome bar outta that thing. Or a junglegym if ya got kids.

I would fix it with a stock pump and sell it as a running boat instead of parting it out . Parting it out is a pain , and everyone wants your used parts for nothing . At least with selling it complete you will not have to deal with 1,000 a$$holes trying to jew you down $20 on a $30 part .

You can try giving Keith a call , he has a boat with one . It is even for sale fairly cheap , he could probably sell you just the pump .

That is a WJ.  Not a bolt in solution.

I have a couple of irons in the fire.  Not gonna make any rush decisions.

The CVX!! She was just playing though. If I were going to get a picklefork boat it would be a big one like George has that could scream across the lake through chop with no worries. But that's just me. I like doing some driving in my boat. I took a ride in Jr's boat one time and I'm perfectly happy watching him haul the mail. That thing was insane!

That Nordic would look damn fine with the Poncho in it.

I like the Nordic.  That is like Jeff Bailey's boat.  Too bad its in Florida and over priced minus motor IMO.
