Berkeley pump and engine cooling

FYI I wouldnt use plastic parts I would use brass or something along those lines.  If some how that platic peace breaks and your on the lake you better have you have a GOOD bilge pump.  Seen it happen and almost loose a boat..

Before i had  a jetaway all i did was reverse the water flow.I cut the end off a old water  hose,slid a plastic piece of hose inside it then stuck the other end the the plastic piece in the bulkhead fitting on the outlet side,started the motor and turned on the hose.No extra fittings,overflow water goes through pump,easy to do and no riggin required.
