how small do you think my river is  crazy.gif

Well I am used to big rivers in Michigan and in my travels but most of the rivers I have seen in Texas aren't all that big.  I can imagine John can get his boat in a few of them but may not turn around or be dragging bottom on rocks.  That's what I imagine.  Of course I also imagine John's boat is pretty big too.

there is a small dam south of the bridge the water is like 30ft deep under the bridge, last year there was a 30ft center console sport fishing boat with twin outboards there, not in our group though

it's all good, it's definitely not the mississippi,  the river does get bigger and deeper closer you get to the coast

quick thought....can you get the local sheriff's dept to check on the trucks a few times during the afternoon? Unless you don't want them to know we are there...lol think.gif

Just my two cents , but I personally think it is best for the local authoritys to know where and when we hold any THB event , just in case there is ever a need for emergency assistance . We all try to be safe , but you never know when something is going to happen and the time saved searching for where the event is being held may be the difference in saving a life or not .

Ya i remember that guy when we were loading up.He was a dick but last year their was 2 deputy sheriffs their Sunday when i got to the ramp,i use to work with 1 of them and he is really cool and loves fast boats. He does patrol that area of the county. When i talked to him he wanted me to make a pass where he could see it.So of course i obliged him. Some of the other people their said he was pointing at me and my ass was grass when i got back to the ramp, but he was just enjoying the pass and checking out the boats as they left the ramp. So ya their is good and bad around here,i recon just like most everywhere else.I'll try to find out if he will be working that weekend.(the good one).
