What's that river by broken arrow by the lockin dam I was out there last christmas on 4wheelers looks to be a pretty nive river

man that has been alot of years back,  but if you are talking about in the other side of catoosa,  i believe it is verdigris navigation channel,  which runs into the Arkansas river close to Muskogee

there have been a few divers sent down to find the boat but with no luck!! :smile21:just go's to show that some folk's don't need jet-boat's! the owner learned a bad lesson !

$25 for boat and up to 4 people, then $5 per extra person. Hate to have to do it that way but just had a meeting with the State Park officals last week, and they feel like they got jipped, plus there was hella confusion on who was with what boat and there we some people that just abused the crap out of it. I hate to say it, but as things grow and get bigger, they get more complecated.

We got the video of the racing on our myspace site if you guys would like to check it out. Just type in OHBA on myspace and it should take you there.

I'll keep you updated, I have another meeting with the State in about a month to finalize everything.

Coast Guard!...sweet, when I was at MEPPS there were a ton of people trying to get in the Coast Guard.

OK fellas I know its been a while since I've been on here but I have some news updates about the 2010 Okmulgee Hot Boat Bash.

Heres the deal, if you havent heard though some of the other sites, the State Park is OUT this year, budget cuts, blah blah blah. So what that means is this,

********THE DATE HAS CHANGED>> AUGUST 13-15 is the bash********

1. the event is free this year, no $25 entry fee
2. the lake wont be closed off, but we have a nice area in the back of a calm cove to hold the festivities
3.there will be no "legal" side by side racing......legal being the key term.
4.since we dont have to buy a bunch of ridiculous insurance, we will have alot more to spend on the actual event.

Despite the state falling out, we are looking at a record number of boats this year. In the 4 years I have been involve i have never seen interest higher. Its still going to be the great time it has always been, still gonna be good people, still gonna be fast ass boats, still gonna be a big party everynight. nothings changed except the state doesnt get any money :smile18:

We collectively voted to change the date due to the Choteau Bend SDBA race.

Cool man, it is gonna be a great time. I just got the proofs back for the tee shirts the other day and they look really good. Bring a bunch of your buddies up with you. the more the marrier!

It was good to meet you, your boats looked great. I want to get with you this winter about some fiberglass seat buckets and some seat covers.
