Hello everybody, another new guy cecking in.  Been a big fan of THB for awhile now and finally was able to start a profile on here.  Also been a big fan of jetboats for an even longer time.  My dad had a Hawian with a BBF back when i was in high school, def a chick getter (must have had on of those P**** magnets installed?) that we would cruise the river in almost every weekend during the summer.  Ever since then I wanted my own jetboat.  Well back in June of this year I came across a guy in the Dallas area (HillBilly68) that had his Eliminator up for sale.  So I jumped on it.  I have enjoyed it ever since, did a lil clean up work on the interior wiht new carpet and some shiny extras but other than that its been a pleasure toy.  Some friends, my girlfriend and I usually go boating on the Neches river north of the salt water barrier, its nice n clean and not crowded at all.  Here are a couple pics, some may have seen it already.  Glad to be part of the forum and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you and attend some of the events.

Thanks guys,  as for Tawakoni, I'll either be there that weekend or in Alto Tx for a 4x4 ride.

hey jpt where you putting in at? the ramp, by the saltwater barrier?

Yes sir, we usually put in at the ramp at the end of "Four Oaks ranch road" operated by TPW, its a public ramp and genrally not too much traffic except for the local fisherman.  Plus side is that theres a biga$$ sand bar up past the "Lakeview" sandar with a couple of nice straight-aways on the way for some WOT action, and thats where we usually hangout at. The other option is launching at the end of Lindberg street on the Beaumont side of the Neches (still north of the barrier but way better ramp and parking lot) the distance between the two boat ramps is less than 1/4mile by river but 10 or more miles by vehicle.
