Don't know how you'd feel about maybe riding out tomorrow? Or could just come by when you go back to pick the heads up from Calvin so you don't have to make a special trip.

When I asked you about it & you confirmed my suspicion, I guess I was happy to realize that I had won this round & saved the wallet to live for another day... that I brain-farted & said today would be good... I even got beer in the fridge for ya.

So anyhow, ya, today won't work. :smile19: But I'd like to see whats up with that thing so I can get it back on the road. If you feel like coming over tomorrow, I can cover the fuel & stuff. Or I can bring those rockers & stands by after work & let you check them out at your place?

I checked that ground situation that Texgo mentioned & tried checking that field wire like the alt. guy said. They were both good. But during the afternoon I had been thinking about it & the only thing that had been messed with was the gauges, so that led me to get under the dash & start seeing what was what. Sure nuff, that big wire that backfeeds to the battery (I guess is how you'd put it) was clipped & neatly taped up out of the way.
All I had to do was put another terminal on it & hook it back up. And abracadabra homes... fired up & got 13 volts on the gauge.... :grin:
