At first glance I did not think the shaft was that bad. Well... It is that bad. Anyone ever used the shaft repair kit from ARS? Any other suggestions?

I've got one on my Kona Matt machine shop did it for me said it was easy.

Even after talking to EO and Duane, I just could not bring myself to use that shaft in the condition it was in. I dropped it off to JJ (beaverfab) and should have it back tomorrow.

Still kickin and screaming. Impy won't be here until tomorrow. No big deal though. I started to put the seal back together tonight and noticed a little catch in the thrust bearing. It feels eerily similar to the bearing that failed on me last year. Hopefully I can find a bearing locally.
Good news is JJ (beaverfab) did a knock out job on repairing the shaft. Thanks again JJ for the great job and rapid turn around.

Got it. You remember this is a YJ thrust bearing right? Flippin number on this one is on the side I can't see with the bearing pressed on the shaft. I thought I had the one that failed laying around here somewhere but I cant find it either.
