Been working 24/7 and going out of town this week so no new updates.  Waiting to hear back from JJ on the Casale drive.  Will start working on a few other things next week.  Did not get to go get the motor but have front motor plates on order still need to figure out the rear motor plate.

Chris are you going to drive this off the front of the motor or the flywheel?
Stacy Going to run it off the flywheel.  Will mount the motor in backwards like most Vdrives are setup.  In fact I thought they were all setup that way.  I have a flywheel and coupler for it.  I am looking for a flywheel cover/bellhousing to use and trying to decide to buy or make a rear motor plate.  I have some Aluminum plate I can use.  Al the original Stringer mounts to mount the motor plates are in a box that came with the boat.  They all look real good will probably clear coat them all at some point to preserve the finish.

Not circle boats. Always off the front. I would never drive one off the flywheel and go turn left around buoys.

ok now that throws a monkey wrench into things.  I wonder how this one was setup now.  It looks like it has a driveline setup to run off the flywheel crank flange not the front pulley.  Man I wish I could find some pictures of when it was new.  I guess I need to pull out the paperwork and look up the original owners in Seabrooke and see if I can locate them or their relatives.

Guess I have to ask JJ he has the gearbox.  Is it a LH Prop?  I am still green on this.  Looks like it will turn counter clockwise to go forward looking from the stern.

Edit: Googled it and looks like a LH Prop to me.  So does this tell me I have to run this off the front of the motor or rear?

I'm trying to figure out when henry did that unless he snuck in to Steele creek while it was in the parking lot and we were out on the lake.  And if that's the case then its all been wash out/off now.

Last year at Tawakoni, Stacy took me for a few rounds, yep it was a blast!  jump.gif

Well now I know how the passenger seat broke off.  Stacy was driving and Knotty was in the passenger seat.

Knotty I had no seat cushion left after you and Neil rode in it  so I decided just to take it out.

As far as the gearbox doesn't matter it's the gears inside it. I've ran lh gears in a rh drive but I wouldn't do all the time. JJ will tell what you have.

Chris you can run it either or. If it was me I would run it off the front of the crank.
