That was a very nice video and the timing was perfect with the cold weather we've been having.
It makes me want to get the boat back out to the Brazos river.

I probably won't be going to Lavon because it looks like using jet boats to roost other boats is acceptable to do.
I'm sure it hilarious for some when it's done, but I don't want it done to mine.
It gets expensive when the ignition box, tach or starter gets wet, not to mention any polished aluminum that gets screwed up.
Y'all have fun squirting each other.

A squirting happened once....never seen it happen while I was there. I can assure you that we take pride in our hot boats as anyone, anywhere. It was an accident that was caught on video.

Matt got squirted by Kurt once but he was sitting right behind him at the starting line.... Oops.. I drove under Andy's roost on purpose and it was cool, gonna get Jen to film that move sometime next summer. I think Chad nailed me pretty good on accident last year.

If your boat can't get wet it probably ought to just stay on the trailer at your own lake. Our entire group runs the crap out of our boats and we have a great time doing it, and yeah, sometimes they get wet. Hot boating for us has absolutely nothing to do with lining them up for a race. Racing them is just one of many byproducts of our hobby, along with bbq's, cold beers, bikinis and squirting sh!t loads of water out of a jet pump.

Maybe not on purpose, but it happens. Some of them are on purpose though..  :smile30:

I'll tell you this, the owner of the boat that got squirted and the guy the did the squirting high fived... So before you go b!tching about some stupid sh!t, get all the info straight.

Uh, maybe you didn't watch the entire video
Check out the video at 5.51 and at 8.34.  Both were accidentally caught on video.
In my opinion boats are made to get wet on the outside, not on the inside.
Mine certainly isn't made to get wet on the inside.
I'll admit that I'm very protective of my boat, and there are places it's probably better not to take it.
If getting other peoples equipment wet is OK with both, thats great, but I prefer to avoid
being one of the innocent bystanders.
There were threads a few years ago where certain individuals suggested it would be fun to roost me.
Some people think it's funny, some of us don't.
I enjoy and respect most of the boaters and I would like to keep it that way.
Many people like to jet ski and wakeboard too, so I try to avoid being near those activities also.

Who the hell is waiting for summer? Winternats are two weeks away!!! All you Southern boys with them Ford daycruisers need to bring em out so my little small block can maybe get a challenge or two. Beating up on Cliff is getting old. Haha

Yep, the proven "slow boat" in the group is what we cruise in!!

Ya know James, we have some seriously nice hardware in our group....not one person is afraid to run their sled hard or get it a little wet.
